Purring Hearts VA just launched officially in January 2021 under our new name. We are located 11740 W Broad Street in Richmond, VA. We have been involved in rescue for decades. We pull animals in need from within the local RVA community, care for them and find them the forever homes they deserve!
In 2022 we rescued 731 cats and kittens. Many come to us sick and/or not socialized. We care for these darlings by providing antibiotics, vaccinations, and spay/neuter surgeries. Sometimes we have to go above the expected and do more than the average; in 2022 we were able to provide expensive eye surgeries for 12 of our Rescues. Last year, alone, we adopted out 838 cats and kittens! We could not do this without the help and support of this generous community. Thank you!!
