All of our available cats and kittens have been spayed or neutered, are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV (unless otherwise stated), and have a microchip. Hi, my name is Sprungle Jungle. I’m a 3-year-old, female tabby cat with striking markings. I need to be honest with you – I’ve had a really rough start to life. I had to grow up way too fast, having six kittens while living under a shed where I was constantly in danger. When I was first trapped and brought to my foster home, I was terrified — I did everything I could to hide and stay out of sight. But, here’s the thing – I’ve come SO far! Gradually, I got braver and started taking food from my foster family. Today, I actually ask for pets, rub against their legs, and will happily lay on my side to ask for more pets. I’m desperate for affection and my foster mom says she fully expects me to become an amazing lap cat for the right person. I still can’t be picked up and I do startle easily, but I’m making progress every single day. I need a very special adopter — someone patient who will let me go at my own pace in a quiet home with no children or older kids only. I’ve seen other adult cats and seem to do fine with them, and I’ve been incredibly patient with my kittens and all their antics. When I come to my new home, I’ll need a space of my own while I get to know you, plus time with you every day so I can learn that people other than my fosters are kind and will take care of me. Oh, and pro tip – Churu treats are absolutely the way to win my heart! I’m an amazing cat who just needs the right home where I can finally relax and be loved. 

Hi, my name is Kiera (AKA Keke). I am a 1-year-old, female tabby cat with white. I am an extremely lovable lady! I am very talkative, love watching the birds out the window, and I LOVE to be petted! I haven’t really shown much interest yet in toys, but I love getting pets. I love to give you headbutts and will give you as many kisses as you want! I do not like other cats and should be an ONLY cat. I am scared of dogs. I haven’t been introduced to small children yet. I am at our PetSmart location in Chester.

Hi, my name is Little Girl. I am a 1-year-old, female, black cat. I was rescued from a harsh life outside and was initially very scared when I came to my foster mom. She was very patient with me and gave me time to warm up and lots of love. Now, I have completely come out of my shell and love people! I love attention from everyone and love all people, kids, and other cats. I have met dogs. I am currently at our PetSmart location in Midlothian in Chattanooga Plaza.

Hi, my name is Belgian Ale, but my foster mom calls me Ginny. I am a 1-year-old, medium-haired, female, tabby with white. I have been a wonderful mom to my 4 kittens, and now it’s time for me to find my own forever home! I was very skittish at first and would only approach my foster mom because she was baby-talking to my babies. I have escaped our room a couple of times, and my foster mom’s adult cats didn’t phase me, but I am very scared of dogs! I love my babies, but if I have to be separated from them, I will adjust. I am still skinny from giving birth, nursing, and waiting for my kittens to finish eating so I can clean up the leftovers. I am very gentle, but very shy. I would prefer a quiet, calm home with a patient adopter who will give me the time I need to adjust to a new environment.

Hi, my name is Cowgirl. I am a 10-month-old, female, black and white kitty with severe cerebral hypoplasia (CH), also known as “wobbly kitten syndrome.” CH is painless, non-progressive, and not contagious. I cannot walk or get around like other kittens can, but I will not worsen as I get older. I have very slowly been getting stronger and compensating for my lack of coordination. I am not on any medications, but need physical adaptations in my home to help me succeed. It is easier for me to get around on carpet, because I can use my claws to grip and move myself forward. For my safety, I should not be around any sort of stairs. I am a very sweet and snuggly lap baby. If you are sitting on the floor, I will climb in your lap for snuggles. I only climb into your lap, or into a cat bed. Good thing is – I can’t get on your countertops! I will do my best to be around you, so please watch out where you walk when I am on the floor. I LOVE pets on the head, and will push my head into your hands to get you to pet me. I am active and play with small toys that cannot get away from me easily, such as toy mice. Because of CH, I grow at a slower pace than other kittens. This means I MUST have wet food twice a day, and water and dry food always available to me. I can eat on my own after taking a minute to steady myself, but I prefer that my foster mom hold me when I eat. I am slowly getting the hang of the litter box, and use pee pads if I cannot get into the litter box. Between the way I eat, use the bathroom, and the fact that I am on the floor a lot, I often end up getting a bath at least once a week. I’m not the biggest fan of it, but I tolerate it, because I get snuggles afterwards. I would do best going home with someone who is at home most of the time, or works from home. I get along with other kittens, cats, and dogs. The other animals in my home must see me as a friend, and not a weaker animal who can be attacked. I have teeth and claws I will use if necessary, but I cannot run away if they start to attack me. I have not met young children yet. My adoption fee has been FULLY SPONSORED by a generous donor! Hi, I’m Home Depot. I am a 1-year-old, female, Calico cat. I’m a sweet and sassy girl! Sometimes I want pets, and sometimes I don’t – there is no rhyme or reason to when I do and don’t. I won’t hiss or smack you, but I will walk away from you, turn around and judge you when you attempt to pet me and I’m not in the mood. I will always happily receive pets when food is involved! I love playing with toys and trying to catch the bugs on cat tv. I really LOVE watching cat tv. I also love trying to nibble on my foster mom’s fingers, but she keeps telling me those aren’t toys and I can’t bite and bunny kick her fingers! I fit the stereotype for a calico, but I am a very sweet girl! I am good with other cats/kittens, and really need to go to a home with another young, confident cat. I haven’t been introduced to dogs yet. I would likely do best in a calm home with no small children given my nibbling tendencies.

I feel more comfortable around other cats and need some patience and time to trust you; but, once I do, you will see a different side of me. I am very talkative! I will meow at you and it will sound like I’m whining – but, don’t worry, that’s just my meow! I love getting pets – but in a very particular way! I want to lie down and stretch out, and then I want all the pets! I love Churu treats, and I love playing with toys – my favorite toy is a teaser wand toy! Hi, my name is Queen Anne. I am a one-year-old, female, brown/caramel-colored Bullseye tabby. Look at my gorgeous green eyes! I came from a shelter in North Carolina – just in the nick of time. I had five beautiful babies in the shelter, and then Purring Hearts rescued me on Friday the 13th – that was a lucky day for me. Since then, I have raised my 5 adorable kittens (I was a very good mother), and now I’m looking forward to being just a cat. I’m very loving, quiet and a bit on the shy side because all of this has been pretty overwhelming. I haven’t had much time to play. I have been able to adjust to different locations easily. Cointreau is my “brother from another mother,” and is my best friend. I would love to be adopted with him, if possible. I love to play with him, and he makes me feel safe and more confident. I am shy around my humans, but I have come such a long way – you can pet me, and I’m starting to feel more comfortable. I need to at least go to a home with another young, active cat to be my friend. Meet Tiberius! Tiberius is a 1.5-year-old, male, purebred Bengal full of energy, curiosity, and nonstop playfulness. He loves to run, climb, and stay busy, so he’ll need an active home that can keep up with him. He had hip surgery about a year ago after a break and he has healed up nicely. He still has plenty of energy and enjoys walking on a leash. Tiberius will need to be in a women-only household and as the ONLY cat, where he can feel safe and build a strong bond with his person. Once comfortable, he’s a fun, engaging companion with a big personality. If you’re looking for a playful, one-of-a-kind cat, Tiberius could be your perfect match! I was an amazing mom to six kittens, and now it is time for me to find a home where I can relax and be the baby I was meant to be. I am a very outgoing cat, and always want to be the center of attention. I want to spend all of my time around you, and get lots of love. I follow you around to be by your side. If you are not petting me, I will jump up and try to pull your hand down to pet me. I do not like to see multiple people around who are not petting me. If you are going to be in the room with me, I expect you to pet me! A light scratch on the head does not suffice – I want full-on massages of my head and shoulders! Hi! My name is Birdie, and I’m a 1-year-old, female calico cat. I was a great mom and raised 4 beautiful kittens, and now I’m ready to find a home where I can be the baby again. I’m an absolute sweetheart and will beg you for attention, pets, and love as often as I can get it! I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but I make up for it by always wanting to be close. I won’t hesitate to crawl on your stomach or in your lap for love. I also love showing off my belly and will sometimes give little love nibbles on your hands or feet when I want more attention. I love Churu treats and will gladly eat as many as you’ll give me. I can be a little shy when there are loud noises or a lot of activity, and I’ll usually find a quiet place to hide until things settle down. Because of that and my nibbling tendencies, I’d probably do best in a calmer home without small children. I am good with my foster mom’s cats and dog.

When I’m not running around playing, I like to be petted and loved on. I am a lovable, sweet, playful boy, with an easy going and even temperament. I am the biggest of my litter outpacing my siblings by a whole pound! That earned me the nickname Big Ben by my foster mom. I take a little time to warm up to new people, but once I do and trust you I come around easily, and happily alternate between doing my own thing and seeking you out for playtime and cuddles. I love all toys (especially anything with a bell) which is the easiest way to get me to come running, playing with my siblings, and getting pets and cuddles from both my siblings and my foster mom. I love sitting perched on top of her, being held, or settling into an arm crook, and I frequently cuddle-puddle for couch cuddles. When I play I play hard, and will tussle with others or your feet, but I give kisses afterwards. I will play-fight if you tickle my belly, but my belly is also safe for pets and kisses especially once I’m relaxed or in cuddle mode. One of my favorite things is warm laptops, so I love to help when you’ve got work to do! I do well with other cats my age and older. I have not been introduced to dogs or small children yet.

Hello, my name is Rodney Dangerfield (AKA Pinkie). I am a 4-month-old, male, Tuxedo kitten. My siblings and I were all named after comedians. I am a sweet, sassy, playful boy, who is all about the kitten life right now. I am the runt of the litter; so, for a while, I was playing catch-up to my siblings, and now that I’m finally big enough, I love playing, tussling, and jumping out at my siblings and my foster mom! I have lots of energy and am learning how to channel it. I love all toys, playing with my siblings, and getting pets and cuddles from both my siblings and my foster mom and will cuddle with you at night. Because I am the runt, I also actively imprint on the other cats which means I treat them like my mom through suckling, kneading, and shadowing them. This means I really hate being left alone, in general, and need other cat companions. I MUST be adopted with my sister, Phyllis Diller. She is my favorite sibling and we get along the best together. I do well with other cats my age and older and like meeting people. I have not been introduced to dogs or small children yet.

Hello, my name is Phyllis Diller. I am a 4-month-old, female, tuxedo kitten. I am a cuddly, sweet, playful girl, and did I mention cuddly?? I’m a people cat who LOVES to cuddle with you! Lap time, chest cuddles, neck scarf – I am not picky! And, when people come over, I am the one who will climb up to perch in their lap or on their leg. I also actively suckle and prefer earlobes, so don’t be surprised if I wake you up during the night purring into your ear and making biscuits on your face. When I’m awake and ready to go, I enjoy tussling with my siblings and love playing with all toys. I frequently will cuddle-puddle for couch and bedtime cuddles. My favorite thing is face-rub pets which I can’t get enough of! I do well with other cats my age and older and like meeting new people. I MUST be adopted with my brother, Rodney Dangerfield. I enjoy company, but I am also okay by myself. I love climbing and perching on top of scratching post – the higher the better! I like food and some treats, but I’m really big on catnip. I like a good lap and will make biscuits. I am good with other cats/kittens. I’ve met tweens but not toddlers, and I haven’t been introduced to dogs yet.

I do NOT like to be left alone – I will cry until you call me and then I’ll come running! I love lap time and climbing. Pop-up toys, springs & bells are great! I’m a huge foodie and I love catnip. The treats I’ve tried thus far are meh. I am great with other cats/kittens. I have seen dogs and was curious about them, but I haven’t interacted with them. I haven’t met kids yet.

My favorite toy is fighting the broom when you are sweeping! I am very playful and love my toys and playing with my brothers and sisters. I am a sweet boy who will lie with you on the recliner and when you go to bed. I haven’t been around dogs or young children yet.

Hi, my name is Trifle. I am a 4-month-old, female, Tuxedo kitten. I’m a long, skinny girl with a big, fun personality. I love to jump for teaser toys and I’d get a 6/6 in kitty gymnastics, except I usually fail to stick the landing. For that reason, I’d really like it if you made sure I could land on something soft before you tease me into jumping into the air. I tend to snack – I am easily distracted from my wet food unless I’m alone with my human who can help me focus. Otherwise, I will lick at my wet food, run and play, come back later and either snack on dry or eat more wet. I had a problem early on with constipation. Now, I get 1/4 teaspoon of Miralax mixed with 1/3 of a small can of wet food twice a day. It works like a charm! So, no more problems. At the end of the day, I like to be close to my foster mom, but I’m not pushy. I will not push my siblings out of the way to get the top spot, but will settle for a spot between a pair of outstretched calves and be perfectly happy. I’m not bothered by the larger resident cats. I haven’t been exposed to dogs or children yet, but I think I would like them.

Hi, I’m Delylah, a gorgeous 2-year-old, female, Lynx Point Siamese cat with a heart as beautiful as my blue eyes. My foster mom says there are so many wonderful things about me that she didn’t even know where to begin! When the rescue saved me, I had a little surprise in store. On my very first night in foster care, I gave birth to four beautiful kittens. It may have been unexpected, but I was so happy to become a mom. Here’s the funny part—despite being a stunning Siamese, not one of my kittens looked like me! Even more amazing, every one of my babies was born polydactyl, meaning they have extra toes. One of them even has eight toes on each front paw! They are truly one-of-a-kind. When my kittens were just two weeks old, the rescue saved a litter of eight tiny kittens that had been abandoned in a commercial dumpster. Thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan who heard their cries, they were rescued just in time. My foster mom brought two of those orphaned babies to me to see if I would accept them. The moment they came out of the carrier, I gently picked them up one by one and carried them over to my own kittens. Just like that, my family grew from four babies to six, and I loved every minute of being their mom. Now all of my kittens have been weaned and are beginning to find loving homes of their own. I can be shy at first; I need a patient family who will give me space and time to trust my new environment. I would do better in a quiet household, preferably without young kids and dogs. I will do flips in the air, sprint across rooms, and attack a feather wand toy with precision and ferocity. Once I have that toy in my mouth I get very excited and start growling and stalking away with my caught “prey”! Don’t worry though, I am not aggressive, I just really really like to play with my toys and take it seriously! I learned from my sister Kenai that being picked up is pretty cool so I usually meet my foster mom at the door and try to meow and look sweeter than my sister so I’ll be picked up first. I love my siblings and would love to go home with any of them, but Kenai is my favorite to cuddle and play with!

I was so shy when we came to live inside that I warily watched my sisters eat delicious wet food for weeks before I felt brave enough to try eating near my foster mom. Now I will happily enjoy my dinner alongside my sisters and lovingly receive scratches and attention! I can be shy at first; I need a patient family who will give me space and time to trust my new environment. I would do better in a quiet household, preferably without young kids and dogs. Napping in laps is one of my favorite past times, so be prepared for a cuddle buddy with a loud purring engine! I recently discovered that like my sisters, I like being picked up; I start purring loudly and immediately when my foster mom picks me up!
